1230 – Board bus to head back to Mei Ling Street

Meiling Street Lions Befrienders Food Drop joint programe ~ Pampering the Elders

About bout 80-100 low income elderly residents who are under the care of Lions Befriender Block 151@ Meiling Street were pampered on 29th May 2010 lead by President Dr Bala & Lions of Somerset, supported by a team of volunteers.

The objective of the event is to show these residents that they are important by "pampering" them.

Activities & happenings under the Pavillion:
~ Massage by Lion Jean Oh & students from Nanyang Poly
~ Nail art by Samantha Lim & students from Nanyang Poly
~ Magic & balloon sculpting by Sherman Lim
~ Simple blood pressure and heart rate screening by Lion Veronica Ong

Event ended with famous fragrant Nasik Lemak sponsored by Mrs Chan's Nasik Lemak

2010年5月29日本会主席Bala博士带领属下会员与义工为居住在美玲路151座的80~120位需要帮助长者举办一系列活动.

此次活动旨意是让这些长者感受到大家以不同的关怀方.

巨大的圆顶棚下充满的生气和活力:
~ 胡丽娟狮姐妹与南洋理工同学负责按摩服务
~ 义工，林苗秀及南洋理工同学负责提供美甲服务
~ 年轻魔术师林奕的魔术表演和气球绑扎艺术
~ 拥有护士资格的王慧娥狮姐妹负责简单的血糖检验和测量血压

在Bala博士的指挥之下顺利完成，服务项目以香喷喷的椰浆饭款待之后落幕
